Katy Davis is in charge. Both regular and TSBVI hours will be available. This will be one of the last organized work days for this gardening season. Gardeners are encouraged to check the Virtual Green Binder at the web site to see if they need any hours before the December 31 fall season deadline. Be sure an record any hours worked.
Annual Holiday Party - Save the Date!
When: December 3rd, 5:00 PM
Come meet your fellow gardeners, eat delicious food, win door prizes, share your love of gardening and have a wonderful time at Sunshine's Annual Holiday Party and very short meeting.

What to do in your garden in December
Vegetable Plants - Arugula, cabbage, chard and other greens, lettuce and spinach.
Strawberry Plants - Spinach is a great companion plant for strawberries.
Herbs - All hardy perennial herbs such as lavender, oregano, rosemary, rue, sage, and thyme; other cold-hardy annual or biennial herbs like parsley, cilantro, dill, and fennel (Dill and fennel may need some protection during freezes).
Annual Flower/Ornamental Plants - Sweet alyssum, bluebonnet plants, ornamental cabbage and kale, Dianthus, Johnny jump-up, pansy, snapdragon, stock.
